The Elvis Unplugged show that got snowed out at Kavarna a few weeks back has been rescheduled for tonight. Performers include Slim Chance & the Convicts, Jon Byrd, the Buck Buckley Band, Elliott Michaels, Theresa Williams, Caroline Engel and Rodney Bell (of the Ramblers), Chickens and Pigs, and others TBA. The event is also a fundraiser for little Lana Turner, a four year old girl who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Lana, the daughter of Blackberry Smoke drummer Brit Turner and his wife Shannon, is currently undergoing extensive treatment and is making good progress in fighting the disease. The money raised at this event will help the family with ongoing medical expenses.
Those Darlin’s do a homecoming of sorts at JJ’s in Chattanooga.
